We were so lucky that some friends recommended Liam. He's friendly, thoughtful, interested in solving problems, in a way that makes him a delight to deal with. We couldn't be happier with the results of his work and unlike other sparkies we've worked with, he turns up on time and even came back on his day off to make sure everything was working as it should. His prices are fair, and his work is of a very high standard. Couldn't be happier. We will definitely be hiring Liam for all future work in our house.

Pool Electrical Questions
Most often moisture getting into the motor or into a fitting on that circuit, or a failing pump motor drawing more than it should. Because the equipment sits outdoors, water ingress is the first thing worth checking. Leave the circuit off and have it tested instead of resetting it repeatedly.
It depends on the equipment and on what else is on that circuit. Pumps and heaters draw steadily for long periods, so they generally need their own suitably sized circuit instead of sharing with garden power. We check the existing setup before connecting anything to it.
We handle the electrical side: the circuit, the isolation and the connection. Tell us who is supplying and fitting the pump, heater or chlorinator and we will work in with them so the electrical work is ready when they are.
Whether a light can be added to a pool that is already built depends on how it was constructed and what conduit exists. That has to be looked at on site. Lighting around the pool and through the surrounding garden is more straightforward and often gets a better result at night.
It depends on the equipment, how far it sits from the switchboard, and the condition of any existing poolside wiring. We look at it, quote the work and only start once you have agreed to the price. Quotes are free.
Yes. We work across the City of Casey, Cardinia Shire and the Baw Baw Shire towns of Drouin and Warragul, so Narre Warren, Cranbourne, Clyde, Officer, Pakenham and the surrounding suburbs are all covered.
Pool Electrical Explained
Pumps, Filters and Equipment
Pool equipment is an unusual electrical load for a house. It runs for hours at a time, it lives permanently outside, and it sits close to water. All three change what the circuit behind it has to look like.
That means a circuit sized for continuous running, not occasional use, an isolator positioned where the equipment can actually be turned off for servicing, and enclosures that will still be sealed in five summers.

Lighting is what makes a pool area usable in the evening instead of something you look at through a window. It also makes the space safer to walk around once the sun has gone.
Lighting within the pool itself depends on how the pool was built and what conduit was left in it, so that gets assessed on site. Lighting around the pool, through the surrounding garden and along the path is more flexible and often does more for how the area feels.
View Pool Lighting Installation →Heating and Heat Pump Supply
Pool heating extends the season by months, which is the whole reason people install it. Electrically it is the heaviest thing in the pool equipment area and the least forgiving of an undersized supply.
We confirm what the unit requires, check what the switchboard can carry, and run the supply accordingly. Where the board needs work first, that is quoted with the rest rather than discovered on installation day.
